New Year Musings
Kindling fire,
Burning desire,
A heart full of passion,
Looking up higher.
Up there my dream lies,
Pursuing which, I strive.
But then I wonder,
How would I?
Amidst a maze,
Pragmatic concerns,
Ruing the day.
For rise I must,
Embracing the change,
The change after Xmas.
Raises the hope,
And I must,
Make it’s most.
'Coz of the fire,
In this New Year,
My heart’s desire.
